On Saturday, September 28th Stephen will speak at an addictions and recovery expo sponsored by the WellSprings Congregation outside of Philadelphia. His remarks, Risk, Resilience and Reasons to Believe, will focus on the story of a young man who became addicted at the age of fourteen and battled his way back to sobriety by age twenty. Stephen’s original research on positive risk-taking and the role of mentors in the lives of young people inform a prescriptive approach to prevention which Stephen will share during his remarks.
