On September 19th, Stephen spoke to an overflow crowd of first year students at Colby College. His remarks centered on civic engagement, specifically youth mentoring as Colby is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its Colby Cares About Kids mentoring program. In his work, and through his research, Stephen has linked such mentoring to risk reduction for both the mentee and the mentor.
