On Saturday November 5th, Stephen and Susquehanna University president L. Jay Lemons will hold a public “town hall style” discussion regarding the controversial Amethyst Initiative, an effort focused on potentially lowering the minimum legal drinking age in the United States. This event will take place during Susquehanna’s annual Family Weekend and will include a book signing by Stephen. His book, Reality Gap, addresses many of the issues regarding underage drinking and other drug use.
