On Wednesday, November 4th, Stephen spoke to faculty and parents at Convent of the Sacred Heart school in Greenwich, CT. His presentation covered such issues as underage drinking, other drug use, teen violence and suicide, and early intimate sexual behavior. At the conclusion of the event, he signed copies of his book, Reality Gap – Alcohol, Drugs, and Sex … What Parents Don’t Know and Teens Aren’t Telling. The following morning, Stephen spoke to the school’s middle and upper school students on the topic of youth development and decision-making, as well as community service. Stephen was introduced at the event by one of his campers from Cape Cod Sea Camps, Jane Mikus, an 8th grader at Sacred Heart.
