Following up on Sunday’s 60 Minutes episode on the debate over lowering the minimum legal drinking age (MLDA), The Sunday Paper of Atlanta interviewed Stephen on Wednesday, February 25th to get reaction to comments from former Middlebury College president and Amethyst Initiative founder John M. MaCardell, Jr. a proponent of an 18 year-old MLDA. Stephen has written two columns on the debate, An (other) Inconvenient Truth and Why Not 21?, and recently published a feature article, The Over/Under – A Back-Story Behind the Drinking Age Debate, on the topic in Camping Magazine.
