Adolescent Identity Formation Subject of New Camping Magazine Article

Stephen’s new feature article in the November/December issue of Camping Magazine, “Adolescence, Identity, and Summer Camp,” speaks to the role that experiential learning plays in helping young people answer the seminal developmental question: “Who am I?” Case stories of youth collected in the process of preparing this piece were published separately in a recent Huffington Post column, “Door Number Three.” They include the voices of former and current campers and teen leaders at Cape Cod Sea Camps in Brewster, MA as well as a student member of the National Advisory Board at the Center for Adolescent Research and Education (CARE).
