Wallace Speaks, Signs Books on Long Island, NY

On Wednesday, April 22nd, Stephen spoke to parents and teens at an event sponsored by East Williston/Roslyn Community Coalition for Drug-free Youth.  He focused on effective parent-child communication as a key to discouraging underage drinking, other drug use, early intimate sexual behavior, bullying, violence, and suicide.  He also highlighted the important role that many young people are playing in their schools and communities through service programs and challenge students to build a legacy of peer-to-peer support and caring.  For more information about the event, click here.  At the conclusion of his remarks, Stephen signed copies of his new book, Reality Gap:  Alcohol, Drugs, and Sex – What Parents Don’t Know and Teens Aren’t Telling, which was made available for purchase through the Manhasset, NY Barnes & Noble.
