CARE Hosts Inaugural Meeting of National Advisory Board

The Center for Adolescent Research and Education (CARE) at Susquehanna University hosted the inaugural meeting of its national advisory board on campus November 8th and 9th.  The board, made up of researchers, educators, business leaders, mental health professionals, parents, and students will guide the research and educational outreach activities of the Center. Events during the two day meeting included a reception and dinner at the president’s home, a presentation by CARE founder/director Stephen Gray Wallace on first year accomplishments (including a discussion of its 2012 research agenda, which looked at overnight college visits by high school students, first semester behaviors by first year college students, and gender differences in youth risk behavior) and round table discussions around key operational issues.
