On Wednesday, May 6th, Stephen spoke to area students and parents at a Youth Health Connection event held in the Performing Arts Center at Thayer Academy in Braintree, Massachusetts. The event was sponsored by the Youth Health Connection program of South Shore Hospital. Buttonwood Books and Toys of Cohasset was on hand to sell copies of Stephen’s new book, Reality Gap. South Shore Hospital’s Youth Health Connection is dedicated to the positive mental health and physical well-being of youth. The program advances positive youth health outcomes through knowledge sharing, risk prevention, respect, and collaboration and connectedness.
Dr. Barbara Green, Medical Director of the program, says, “To have the most positive impact on our children’s health and well-being, we must work together as a community in a comprehensive way to provide a safe and nurturing environment where youth have access to the information and resources they need to make healthy decisions.”
