Stephen, who was introduced by Chief of Pediatrics Leif Norenberg, M.D., covered the breadth and depth of youth at risk in today’s society; articulated decision factors and decision points related to such behaviors as underage drinking, other drug use, and early intimate sexual behavior; and talked about a communication process that can empower parents and teens to better understand the physical, social, emotional, and legal consequences of certain behaviors and to make safer, healthier choices.
