Moral Development, Character and American Youth Culture Focus of Wallace’s New Psychology Today Column

Stephen’s new column for Psychology Today, “Big Little Lies – Character, culture and American youth,” takes a deep dive on moral development, character and a culture of dishonesty that affects young people. It includes reference to the seminal work of Jean Piaget, Lawrence Kohlberg and Carol Gilligan and documents the impact of untruthfulness and deceit on individuals and communities. Commentary is provided by Tufts University sophomore Adam Rosen, a student member of the national advisory board at the Center for Adolescent Research and Education (CARE).
